Do you have plans for Halloween yet?
A friend of mine has booked us tickets for the Halloween event over at York Maze – Hallowscream!
Over 7 nights the maze is transformed into an adults only fright fest, with a series of spooky experiences including Barnaggedon, The Symetery, The Carnevil and Outbreak!
This year’s circus themed scares are sure to get your heart racing and I am certainly preparing myself for a few shocks.
After trying all 4 of the new scares you might want to settle yourself with a drink in the bar, The Stumble Inn!
York Maze are even running a zombie bus from the station to the maze each night, leaving at 6,7 and 8 o clock, returning at 9.30, 10.30 and 11.30. You need to book these online but it’s only £4 return, so you can enjoy The Stumble Inn without having to drive.
If this is your idea of fun head over to York Maze online and get your tickets quick as this event has sold out fast in the past.
Tickets must be bought in advance and are on sale now. Tickets cost between £14.50 and £19.50 depending on the night you choose.
I’ve heard good things about this event from people who have been in previous years although I’ve also heard that some people have been seen running away through Elvington in shock!
I fear there’s a good chance I’ll be one of them. See you there!
After event review!
Ok so I’ve been and I survived! Hallowscream was well worth a visit in my opinion. Great value for the money – 5 decent sized attractions which had obviously seen a lot of effort going into their design. A huge cast of actors who jumped out at me one too many times! Really imaginative and scary experience.
