Their next event will be in partnership with restaurant 29 States which is sure to be good. Learn more here.
UPDATE: We attended the fair. It was nice and well organised although very, very busy so it was hard to get round. Some people had to apparently queue for a while – still that’s better than it being empty. Clearly very popular! I would have loved to have seen some more spice and cooking stalls.
The next one will be taking place in a bigger venue in York just before Christmas. Bigger and better by all accounts 🙂
We also saw local celeb Mark Addy visiting!
When: Wednesday 31st August 7pm-9pm
Where: Clements Hall, Nunthorpe Road, York, YO23 1BW
A cute little local event that looks like it will be good.
A night of music, dance, fashion and crafts in the style of an Indian night market.
They are fundraising for The York Indian Cultural Association and The British Heart Foundation.
No tickets needed but donations will be greatly appreciated.
There’ll also be some Indian snacks available.
Parking: There will be limited parking spaces available at Scarcroft Primary School, York, Y023 1BS. The school is only 1 minute walk away from the hall. If that is full try Nunnery Lane or Bishopthorpe Road car parks.
See the Facebook event for more information.
