Out About York

Food, fun & festivals in the magical city of York

One of the best things about York has to be its pubs and restaurants. With over 500 restaurants in York named on Trip Advisor and over 300 pubs and bars it really is a great place for lovers of food and drink!

I’ll share my experiences of some of York’s best food and drink in this section. Hopefully we can help you decide where to visit or introduce you to new places. With so many restaurants in York it can often be difficult to know where to start.

I’ll also share some of my own recipes (which are mostly thrifty but tasty inventions from basic ingredients) and some of the best ingredients Yorkshire has to offer.

If you’d like us to visit your restaurant or pub, suggest a great place or submit a review please do get in touch.

Happy eating!
